Goals and motivations
I have dedicated my life to using sustainable design to make lasting impact on the developing world. There are many places where dignifying architecture is not accessible to people who need it most, and I believe that working in partnership with communities in crisis is the only way to build resilience. After starting my architecture career in the United States, I moved overseas to join hands with local nonprofits across Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa in the development of critical infrastructure for disadvantaged people. I'm led by my conviction that good design should be affordable to everyone in the world.
