AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, 4 October, 2022 — Dutch nonprofit Architecture-in-Development (A--D) is calling for sponsors for the 2022 edition of its annual Global Challenge (#GC2022).

Running from October to June each year, the Global Challenge helps accelerate the development of the most impactful inclusive and sustainable architectural projects worldwide.

Sponsor contributions help A--D connect its global network of 60K+ mostly female architects with self-build communities living on the frontlines of today’s social and environmental emergencies.

50% of sponsor contributions go directly to accelerating the development of a specific self-build community project. 50% goes to improving the reach and impact of the challenge itself, and building out the capacity of the A--D global network.

In return, A--D promotes its sponsors across A--D media and collateral, and sponsors gain access to exclusive GC project content.


All Global Challenge projects are selected carefully for their feasibility, impact, and contributions to both United Nations sustainable development goals and positive social and environmental impacts.
