My qualifications are in architecture and construction management. However, I spent the last eight years working in the field of immigration and determining refugees' statuses. I'm very much interested in low cost housing for new immigrants, for the displaced and for the impoverished. I'm also interested in the rejuvenation of neglected buildings and public spaces. Mental health is also a big issue in our communities. Having lived in cities all my life I feel more can be done for the homeless in a built form way.
